Early Intervention services are developmental and therapeutic services that are done in the child’s natural environment. This can be at Childgarden or in the home. Our Early Intervention Specialist is a site leader for Childgarden. This role spends most of the time in the classrooms to help identify and support children with challenges. The Early Intervention Specialist works closely with the staff and families of Childgarden to ensure success as ALL children learn and play together. Therapists from Belle Children’s Services of St. Louis Arc then visit Childgarden to provide any therapies in the center.
Belle Children’s Services of St. Louis Arc promotes the rights and expectations of all children to be fully included in the community. They provide a progressive, family-centered inclusive approach to education and community life that supports children with disabilities.
The staff of Childgarden and Belle Children’s Services of St. Louis Arc are available to provide consultation and training that will guide families and staff from other organizations on how to successfully include children with developmental delays and disabilities as true participants in their community.
